Privacy Policy
This Privacy Policy explains which personal data we process when you visit this website and what rights you have. We handle your data confidentially and only within the framework of the statutory provisions, in particular the EU General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR) and applicable US state law.
1. Controller
Responsible for data processing on this website:
Indiecatr LLC
3833 Powerline Road, Suite 201
Fort Lauderdale, FL 33309
United States of America
Email: mail@indiecatr.org
Website: indiecatr.org
Represented by: Dino Bongartz, Manager. There is no statutory obligation to appoint a data protection officer, and we have not appointed one voluntarily.
2. Hosting
We host this website at a commercial hosting provider within the European Union and the United States. The provider processes access data in our name on the basis of a data processing agreement (Art. 28 GDPR). Legal basis for hosting: Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR, our legitimate interest in providing the website securely and efficiently.
3. Server log files
Each time you visit this website, the server automatically records technically necessary data: your IP address, the date and time of access, the name and URL of the requested page, the referrer URL, the browser and operating system used, and the HTTP status code. This data is needed to deliver the website correctly, to ensure security and stability, and to trace abuse. It is stored separately and not merged with other data sources. Log data is deleted after seven days at the latest, unless retention is required for evidentiary purposes.
4. Cookies, tracking and analytics
This website sets no cookies for marketing, tracking or analysis purposes. We use no analytics tools, no advertising or social media plugins, no A/B testing tools and no chat or video embeds. Because nothing is tracked, no consent management platform is required and no tracking consent banner is shown.
5. Third-party providers and fonts
We do not load fonts, scripts, stylesheets or images from third-party content delivery networks. Fonts and all other assets are delivered from this website itself. As a result, your browser does not connect to Google Fonts, Google Analytics, Meta, LinkedIn, TikTok or any similar service when you visit us, and no usage data is transmitted to such providers.
6. Contacting us
If you write to us by email, we process the data you provide (name, email address, message content and any attachments) in order to answer your request. Legal basis: Art. 6(1)(b) GDPR where the request relates to a contract or a pre-contractual relationship, otherwise Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR. We delete this data once your request has been handled and no statutory retention obligations — in particular commercial and tax retention periods — require further storage.
7. Business relationships and contracts
If we work together, we process the contact and billing data of our clients and their employees, as well as the data required to perform the agreed services and to meet accounting and tax obligations. Legal basis: Art. 6(1)(b) and 6(1)(c) GDPR. Retention follows the statutory commercial and tax periods, generally up to ten years.
8. Recipients of data
Data is passed on to third parties only where it is necessary to perform a contract, where we are legally obliged to do so, or where a processor supports us in operating the website. Processors are selected carefully, bound by contract and audited regularly.
9. Transfers outside the European Economic Area
Indiecatr LLC is registered in Florida, United States. Where personal data is transferred to a country that does not hold an adequacy decision of the European Commission, this takes place only where the conditions of Chapter V GDPR are met — in particular Standard Contractual Clauses plus a transfer impact assessment, or an explicit consent of the data subject (Art. 44–49 GDPR).
10. Data security
We protect this website and the systems behind it with appropriate technical and organisational measures in line with the state of the art, including encrypted transmission via TLS, access controls, and regular updates. These measures are reviewed and improved continuously.
11. Retention periods
We store personal data only as long as required for the purpose of processing or as prescribed by the retention periods we are subject to. After the purpose lapses or the period expires, the respective data is deleted in the customary manner.
12. Your rights
You have the right to access (Art. 15 GDPR), rectification (Art. 16), erasure (Art. 17), restriction of processing (Art. 18), data portability (Art. 20) and objection (Art. 21 GDPR) with respect to your personal data. If processing is based on your consent, you may withdraw it at any time with effect for the future; the lawfulness of processing before withdrawal remains unaffected. You also have the right to lodge a complaint with a data protection supervisory authority, in particular in the Member State of your habitual residence, your place of work or the place of the alleged infringement (Art. 77 GDPR).
To exercise any of these rights, simply write to the email address above.
13. Changes to this Privacy Policy
We may adapt this Privacy Policy to reflect changes to our services or to the legal framework. The currently applicable version is published on this page.
